The Light of the World
June 1, 2025 Speaker: Jonathan McLeod Series: The Gospel of John
Scripture: John 8:12–30
Jesus speaks says, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" (John 8:12).
Jesus is claiming something profound about who he is and what he offers to those who follow him.
Three questions about John 8:12:
- How is Jesus the “light of the world”?
- What does it mean to “walk in darkness”?
- What is the “light of life” that he promises?
