Law-Abiding Hypocrites

Scripture: John 7:14–24
In the group of people Jesus was talking to, there would have been many whom we could describe as being self-righteous or judgmental — people who would have a holier-than-thou attitude. (The Pharisees had that reputation.)
Jesus says two things about self-righteous people.
- Self-righteous people are not as good as they think they are.
- Self-righteous people end up being hypocrites.
