This October we will be launching Phase 1 of our Small Groups plan. This phase will last until the end of 2022.

There will be two groups during this phase:

• A women’s group meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. This group will start on Oct. 11 and will meet in a home on Portland Estates Blvd. (Register here.)
• A men’s group meeting on Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. This group will start on Oct. 16 and will meet at the church. (Register here.)

We hope to have at least one mixed group in 2023. In the men’s group, we will look to develop leaders who might be able to lead a group in the new year.

The purpose of our groups will be to encourage one another to live gospel-transformed lives. “Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another …” (Heb. 10:24-25).

Getting to know one another will be a by-product of our groups.

The studies will be sermon-based. Our primary focus will not be to do a Bible study or to recap the sermon, but to explore the implications for our individual lives and our life together as a community of believers.

Group members will be encouraged to invite others to join their group.

Groups will be missional, planning one service project per month.
