What do we believe our church is supposed to be doing? We believe the answer is found in the Great Commission: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20a). Therefore…
Our mission is to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
We realize that becoming a fully devoted follower of Christ (developing spiritual maturity) does not happen instantaneously. It is a daily process that occurs over a lifetime and ultimately will be completed by God in heaven (Romans 8:28-30; Philippians 1:6; 3:10-14).
We have four strategic goals that will help us fulfill our mission:
To lead people to Christ (to become genuine followers of Christ)
To help people grow to spiritual maturity (to become growing followers of Christ)
To encourage people to share their God-given resources—time, talents, and treasure (to become giving followers of Christ)
To equip people to share their faith with the lost (to become going followers of Christ)
